Agricultural Policy and Proposals, 1946–1950
This archive contains historical records relating to agricultural policy and proposals between 1946 and 1950 in the former Plateau Province. The material is preserved through the British Library’s Endangered Archives Programme as part of the project Recovering the Endangered Archives of the Benue Valley, Central Nigeria.
The file forms part of the collection Annual Provincial Reports for Plateau Province [1905–1955], which is itself part of a larger body of colonial and ethnographic documents, transcripts and photographs from the collection of C. C. Jacobs.
Covering the period 1946–1950, the records provide historical material for understanding agricultural policy and proposals during the late colonial period.
